HOMER MAIN STREET COMMUNITY
Louisiana Main Street is a community driven revitalization program designed to promote the historic and economic redevelopment of traditional commercial districts in Louisiana. Main Street Homer, a nonprofit organization, is a part of this program with a mission to revitalize downtown Homer through economic and cultural development, historic preservation and advancement of the arts.

To date, Main Street Homer has provided grants and tax credits that have helped revitalize historic buildings, created the Homer Art Center to foster local artists, and developed a greenspace park for community activities, all in the heart of downtown Homer. These efforts and those like them will continue to strengthen our downtown, making it a fun place to visit, and a profitable location to do business. Homer is open for business!
